Call it the First Covenant, Rainbow Covenant, the Noahide or Universal Covenant, natural law, or natural religion...

Whatever you call the great compact between God and mankind, it's an incredible body of immortal wisdom designed to lead ALL the children of men to the Bible's universal truths, to grace, empowerment, higher consciousness, and holiness.

Some call it "Noahism," or Noahide Law. It's the guts of the age-old Biblical Covenant (Genesis 9) of the Rainbow, after the legendary Flood of Noah..

Evoking a comprehensive, brilliant Code of moral conduct (in just 17 short syllables, in the Talmud, part of the ancient Torah of Israel) this Law, the seven Commandments of the Children of Noah - the sheva mitzvot b'nei No'ach - defines what it means to be human.

These are Heaven's basic rules and instructions for living the good life - a fully human life.

Whether you consider yourself a conscious servant of the God of Israel or follow another spiritual or religious system, including atheism, the wisdom of this system will open your eyes.

"God has given commandments unto men. From these commandments men have framed laws by which to be governed. It is honorable and praiseworthy to serve the people by helping to administer these laws. If the laws are not enforced, the people are not well governed." (Frederick Hastings Rindge, 1878)

This foundation, dedicated to better understanding of God's covenants, is something of an outlier. In the field of First Covenant studies, we reject many teachings of certain other schools of thought.

We teach that God NEVER acts as a tyrant to His creatures, God forbid. And that every nation must determine the details of its own laws for itself.

From our book, Rainbow Covenant: "The fact is, persuasive ancient as well as modern scholarship insists, that God has established the substance of His Law while He grants B'nai Noah freedom to legislate its details." (p. 84).

We established this foundation, wrote our book, Rainbow Covenant: Torah and the Seven Universal Laws, publish our Covenant Connection newsletter, and do everything we can to make this sacred wisdom more universally accessible.
